Following a successful ESports festival last year, The Seletar Mall has invited their sister mall, The Clementi Mall, as part of the ESports Festival 2018.
This year, four games will be played across two weeks as part of the Battle of the Pros tournament, to bring together gamers from different genres of play. The event plans to engage not only competitive players but to let the public take part in mini-challenges, lucky draws and to have a spectator experience.
Mobile Legends ( 27th – 30th August ): Each day, teams in a group will play Best of One games against one another in the swiss format. The 4 teams with highest accumulated points from each group will advance to the final day to compete against the other 4 winning teams from The Seletar Mall for the prize pool on the 9th September. Prize pool totals up to SGD$8,000.

Rules of Survival ( 31st August – 2nd September ): Players will form a squad to particulate in one of the 3 groups over 3 rounds. The top 2 squads with highest accumulated points (survival ranking and kills) in each group will advance to compete in the final showdown at the Seletar Mall on the 9th September. 3rd and 4th squads in each group will gather to compete for 2 additional slots for the final game on 2nd September. Prize pool totals up to SGD$8,000.

Brawl Stars ( 1st & 2nd September ): Players in a team of 3 will compete in single elimination and best of 3 format against one another to qualify for the final. The format for the final will be BO3 as well on 2nd September. Prize pool totals up to SGD$3,000.

All players participating in the “Esports Festival 2018: Battle of the Pros – Brawl Stars Tournament” must enter with their registered in game name. The game account will be used to invite players into custom matches and for verification purposes.
Only registered team members can play for a team. Playing a match with a ringer is strictly prohibited. Players and team members must compete with their registered in game name during all matches in the tournament proceeding.
All games are to be played using the latest version of the game to participate in the tournament. Any updates must be installed before the start of the tournament. Any delays need to be kept to a minimum; no time wastage is allowed.
Teams are responsible for their own technical issues (hardware). Matches will not be rescheduled due to above mentioned issues and will go on nevertheless. If maximum pause time and/or delay is exceeded, the game will continue even if the issues is unresolved.
To maintain fairness during the tournament, the organiser reserves the right to disqualify teams.
Teams found partaking in the following scenarios will be disqualified from the tournament:
BO5 Single elimination
Game 1: Gem Grab – Bone Box
Game 2: Heist – Bandit Stash
Game 3: Gem Grab – Mushroom Cave / Temple Catacombs
Game 4: Heist – Safe Zone / Kaboom Canyon
Game 5: Loser picks Mode, winner will pick from map pool of the chosen mode.

Should a team be absent and uncontactable during registration or attendance taking phase, that team will be marked as late and not allowed to participate in the tournament.
As stated above, the tournament organisers reserve the right to disqualify any player that do not comply with the rules.
All prize money will be paid within 30 days after the conclusion of Esports Festival 2018: Battle of the Pros – Brawl Stars Tournament. All prize money transfers are to be handled via bank transfer. The prize money will only be transferred to the team captain. The team leader has to make sure that his team members will receive the prize money.
The tournament organiser and the event producer reserves the right to modify the present Rules at any time without prior notice.

Game-play Settings (Game settings will be set by the referees on event day)
During any penalty kicks, the ‘Set Target’ is to be turned off before taking the penalty. Should it not be turn off, any goals scored will not be counted
Players are recommended to be standing by at the tournament site 15 minutes before the game.
Players must report the results after each series to the tournament admins.
To maintain fairness and sportsmanship between players during the tournament, the organiser reserves the right to penalise players whom show any unsportsmanlike behaviour such as:
Participants whom fail to comply with exemplary standards of conduct will be strictly dealt with.
The tournament organisers reserve any right to disqualify any players that do not comply with the rules.
All prize money will be paid within 30 days after the conclusion of ESports Festival 2018: Battle of the Pros – FIFA18. All prize money transfers are to be handled via bank transfer. Should any winners not receive their prize money, kindly contact the organisers for verification.
